Parent Resources

At LIGHT Academy, we partner with you in your child's education. With limited time in the classroom, our partnership involves the parents homeschooling on non-LIGHT days, with the guidance and pacing of a classroom teacher. Throughout the school year, we will update this page with resources and links to assist you in your homeschooling adventure.

All LIGHT families must register with the state of Kansas as a non-accredited private school.

Elementary Math Checklist

This literacy institute is one of the resources used for elementary language arts at LIGHT Academy. The toolbox has printables, sample lessons, and additional resources for home.

Saxon Math Placements

Saxon Math is used for our middle and high schoolers. The placement test gives an idea of what math class your student is ready for based on our curriculum.
